We are looking for a skilled accountant to play a key role on our growing team. You’ll be responsible for recording all our financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and posting information to accounting journals and QuickBooks. $22 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial statements
• Make sure accounts payable/accounts receivable are processed efficiently
• Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers
• Bookkeeping: Enter data, maintain records and produce financial reports
• Consistently input daily financial transactions and finalize the posting process

Qualifications:

• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field
• Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
