Crimson Electric is an electrical apparatus service center in the Carolinas. The company specializes in the repair and testing of AC/DC motors and drives, servo motors, pumps and gear reducers. Crimson's facility includes state-of-the-art equipment for comprehensive repair, engineering and testing of equipment. Overview: Seeking a Sales Manager with a strong background in pump systems and electrical motors and proven leadership in sales team management. The role demands strategic business development, effective sales pipeline oversight, and the achievement of sales goals. Responsibilities include leading Sales Engineers, fostering strategic relationships within customer organizations (across purchasing, maintenance, and engineering), and ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth. A proactive mindset for cultivating both existing and new accounts, with a pre-existing market presence, is essential. The role focuses on leveraging our flagship product to capitalize on significant market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Supports a strong, team-based culture that aligns with investment in our people, taking care of our customers and achievement of core expectations.
- Engages with all members of the team to make sure that they are supported and achieve a high level of success.
- Must be able to resolve personnel issues promptly and effectively.
- Clear understanding of strong cross-functional relationships and what they mean to manage a successful business.
- Develops and implements effective strategies to achieve expectations.
- Successfully executes all action plans and strategies to achieve the desired outcome.
- Possesses a strong business acumen to make sound decisions pertaining to the needs of the business including all aspects of P&L.
- Travel - 50% plus in territory.
- College degree preferred, alongside a minimum of four years of experience pump and motor technology sales, or a comprehensive six years of sales experience in the industrial technology sector.
- Minimum of two years in sales management, with multi-territory leadership preferred.
- Proactive prospecting with a dedication to fieldwork.
- Deep passion for and understanding of the pump and motor industry.
- Strategic thinker with a vision for territorial growth.
- Skilled in presentations and communication across platforms.
- Innovative problem solver with a flair for identifying new business opportunities.
