Job Summary
Oscar's Brewing Company is looking for dedicated Line Cooks who enjoy working in a strong team environment. Applicants must have professional kitchen experience in a high paced restaurant. A background in upscale dining is appreciated!
Responsibilities and Duties
As an OBC Line Cook you:
Stock and set up your station with all essential provisions
Label, date and rotate all food, following FIFO procedures
Cook and prepare all menu items in accordance with OBC recipes and standards
Ensure that all food handling areas are maintained thoroughly clean
Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
Execute multiple food orders quickly, timely and effectively
Thoroughly clean and wrap up your station upon completion of serve
Qualifications and Skills
Must be at least 18 years of age
Be organized, attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Have great communication skills and be able to work as a team!
Function well when under stress
Have a current food handler permit
Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, and evenings
Able to meet physical demands such as lifting 50 pounds and standing for 8 hours or more
Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar capacity
