Why This Role Is Valuable:
This position will manage and maintain vendor accounts while ensuring all Accounts Payable transactions are properly recorded and processed accurately and timely. The position will report to the Finance Manager and will encompass some supervisory duties of transaction processing shared personnel.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Ensure adherence to accounts payable controls and approvals.
Timely processing of accounts payable transactional activities along with ensuring proper expense coding.
Utilize and manage the AP transactional support software along with ensuring agreement between this system and the ERP system.
Weekly Payment Run Selections including Obtaining Approvals.
Primary point-of-contact for suppliers
Support in maintaining accurate vendor information and conduct annual vendor account reviews.
Support of month-end and year-end close activities for accounts payable.
Provide various reportings, associated with Company disbursements and payables.
Reconcile credit card statements and oversee related controls.
Provide general oversight and limited supervisory support for the AP transactional group.
Perform some cash/bank related duties.
What You Bring To The Role:
Associate degree in accounting, business, or related field.
OR 4 years of related business experience
Occasional local travel
Rare travel to other Ornua locations
