Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist with medical administrative support. Responsibilities:
- Accurately document patient encounters, including medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans
- Assist healthcare professionals with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Transcribe physician orders and prescriptions
- Provide coding support for medical procedures and diagnoses
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with patient care tasks, such as taking vital signs and assisting with medication administration
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology to accurately document medical information
- Provide excellent patient service by ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospital operations and procedures is beneficial
- Must have a high level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality
