Position Summary
- Responsible for the management and training of warehouse personnel, dispatching, and order fulfillment on the 2nd shift (1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with ample room for personal and professional growth;
- Utilize strong leadership skills to ensure the safe and timely loading of company vehicles for delivery;
- Manage a variety of personnel, process, and system tasks with an eye for continuous process improvement;
- Maintain safety protocols and procedures – vigilance on the floor
- Interact with team on the floor -Monitor employee productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency.
- Foster positive work environment and attitude of team.
- Drive continuous improvement in areas of safety and productivity.
- Coaching and training development of personnel.
- Performs all other job-related duties as assigned
Experience / Education, Certifications
- Required: 2-year degree and or 5 years of warehouse supervisor experience
- Preferred: N/A
Knowledge and Competencies
- Superior communication and organization skills
Representative Machines, Tools, Equipment And/or Software Used:
- Tablets and computers
Environmental / Atmospheric Working Conditions:
- Warehouse conditions including seasonal weather conditions
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Check product for accuracy
- Damaged product
