POSITION AVAILABLE – PART-TIME OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
South Central Transit Authority is seeking an experienced Part-Time Operations Supervisor for its Reading location, Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority (BARTA). The position requires 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role, union shop experience helpful but not required, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Experience with Microsoft Office, tracking productivity, and customer service is also required.
Typical duties include on-road supervision of Transit Operators; Operator performance reviews; assistance with customer service; and writing and compiling reports related to department operations: position hours are flexible but will be 20-25 hours per week, 6am to noon, 3 days per week.
Applicant should possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. CDL with P endorsement and air brake restriction lifted required within 9 months of hire (training provided).
