Summary:
Provides support to the organization on benefits and other HR related projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review and approve payroll previews to ensure the proper deduction adjustments are deducted.
  • Assist with preparation and performs New Hire Benefits Orientation
  • Responds to employee and dependent inquiries regarding ADP, benefits enrollment and general benefit information
  • Monthly reconciliation of benefit invoices to included break down by Company/Department to submit to Accounts Payable for payment.
  • Assist with creating benefit communications.
  • Review New Hire report to verify that the proper benefit communication triggered from ADP for timely benefit enrollment
  • Review PAF’s from HR Ops with change in hours/status to ensue benefit enrollment event triggered in ADP and proper communication went to employee.
  • Run termination report to properly allocate deductions on final check, if necessary and post to BDS for proper payroll processing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, including: Medical, Dental, 401(k) administration, health & wellness initiatives preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills for communicating with both internal employees and external vendors.
  • Proficient in Excel to include vlookup and pivot tables.
  • Working knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree in Human Resources and two (2) years’ related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, graphs, statistical comparisons and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and present and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with, resolve and take responsibility for problems or solutions to problems.
