POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and effectively conveying the value of our products or services. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.


WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE FOR A SALES REPRESENTATIVE AT OPEN ROAD BRANDS:

  • Prospecting: Identify and research potential customers to generate leads through various channels, such as cold calling, email outreach, social media outreach, and online outreach.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients by understanding their business goals and needs, effectively communicating product/service features, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling and informative sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting our product's benefits and unique selling points.
  • Sales Quota Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and quotas.
  • Pipeline Management: Keep accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in our CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads through the sales funnel.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to optimize sales strategies and align with company objectives.
  • Continuous Learning: Continuously improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and communication skills to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Travel: Periodic travel required to participate in trade shows and/or customer visits. 20% travel.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with customers.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing sales environment.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
