JOB SUMMARY & MISSION:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of Safety Attendant (holewatch/firewatch/bottlewatch) projects from inception to completion. Projects can be up to 300 personnel. Works with the Project Team on creating an effective manpower staffing program and ensuring all site specific training information is incorporated into the Company’s internal training program. Once the project begins, serves as the primary contact for the client and is responsible for all field operations. All Onpoint site employees report to this position. Ensures all field operations are operating in a safe, effective and proficient manner. Coordinates with all General Foremen/Foremen to move personnel from one area of the field to the other as needed in order to effectively manage the overall project and not delay any work. Oversees all project timekeeping and cost tracking requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises 2 or more General Foremen. Also, provides indirect supervision for up to 300 personnel on an assigned project. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: The Project Manager may be required to travel to conduct the Company’s business at various customer locations throughout North America.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee could be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious locations such as towers (up to 300ft.). They may be required to work in extreme cold and extreme heat and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Their work may involve risks to hazards such as: working around moving mechanical parts; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may exceed 85dB and will require the use of hearing protection.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand or walk. They will need to use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and to reach with hands and arms. They will need to use their senses to see, feel, hear, taste and smell. The employee may be required to climb ladders, scaffolds and stairs to excessive heights of up to 300ft., and/or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to carry/transport/move equipment up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
