There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join the Construction team in Seattle as a Superintendent. Reporting directly to the General Superintendent this person will be responsible for overseeing the construction of a high-rise mixed-use development.

Job Description:

Duties

Scheduling:

• Driving and maintaining overall construction schedule over the duration of the project
• Updating the project team with key milestone dates, and forecasting daily, weekly and monthly targets

Budget and cost tracking:

• Assisting Project Manager with overall budget review and cost tracking
• Issuing and overseeing all work orders for any and all materials coming to the site
• Site documentation and review of any site changes and cost implications

Management and Leadership:

• Overall supervision of all sub-trades, workers, and suppliers
• Reviewing of sub-trade or suppliers’ contracts, scope of work, and submittals to ensure compliance
• Creating and implementing site logistics plans for new projects
• Reviewing of design changes and RFIs to implement changes in the field
• Working with site safety coordinator to ensure the overall safety of the site
• Daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to review and Implement quality control
• Schedule and participate in all consultant and governing authorities inspections.
• Site resource allocation form internal and external resources
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

Summary of Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of related concrete construction experience in all aspects of mixed use, multi-residential, high rise concrete construction or commercial
• Experience overseeing high-rise and podium multifamily and/or commercial projects
• Proven performance in leadership and managing both people and construction sites
• Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset
• OSHA 30-hour training certificate an asset
