Cogs is Hiring a Superintendent - Healthcare Construction Near Seattle, WA

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 base

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to lead the successful construction of healthcare facilities in the Seattle area. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the healthcare landscape in a thriving and dynamic city.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects.
  • Oversee adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality specifications.
  • Coordinate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and healthcare facility representatives.Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, adapting as necessary to accommodate changes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control measures throughout the construction process.
  • Facilitate clear communication between the construction team and healthcare facility staff to minimize disruptions to ongoing medical services.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts to maintain project focus and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in healthcare construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex healthcare projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and a good driving record.
