Job Summary:

This is a 3-4 months assignment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to our accounting and legal team, assisting in various legal tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the legal department.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist with contract interpretation

- Review contracts, extract, and organize financial information into a spreadsheet

- Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems

- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness

- Support attorneys during trials by organizing exhibits and other trial materials

**Qualifications:**

- Associate degree.

- 2 Years experience in a relevant role

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence

- Proficiency in conducting interviews and gathering information from clients or witnesses

- Administrative experience in a legal setting is preferred

- Knowledge of legal drafting, research, and contract review processes

- Familiarity with document management systems for maintaining legal records

- Ability to proofread legal documents with attention to detail

- Experience in project management within a legal environment
