RN, Infusion Services, Cancer Center, Port Angeles & Sequim, Per Diem, Day & Eve Shift, On Call

JOB SUMMARY:

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of Cancer Center infusion services and chemotherapy patients. Provides the care needed as described in the department policies and procedures. Demonstrates the values contained in the Cancer Center and Olympic Medical Center (OMC) mission and philosophy statements. Participates in patient and family education. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the out-patient clinical setting. Expected to participate on a rotational basis in low census in the event Sequim cancer services patient census dictates. May perform emergency care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
RN required. OCN preferred. If not OCN at time of hire, must obtain certification within 2 years of hire.
Experience
Minimum of two years experience in an ambulatory medical clinic and current chemotherapy infusion experience. Prior medical oncology experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials
Current Washington State Registered Nurse licensure. CPR certified.
