JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Generalist provides broad support to the HR team with strong focus on assigned functions that may include staffing management indicators, position development, employee wellness, employee and labor relations, and leaves of absence. This position cross-trains and supports other HR team members and functions as needed, and may also assist with special projects, performance improvement efforts, and ongoing departmental efforts to improve employee engagement across the organization.

This position will primarily provide support in the area of HRIS.
Data & Reporting – Enters and maintains accurate employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Excel and other databases. Compiles routine and ad hoc reports as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
  • High School graduate or GED required.
  • 2 years post high school business/college course work preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, English, Computer Science or related field preferred.
Experience
  • One year broad or in-depth human resource experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience favorable.
Licensure/Credentials
  • PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
