TITLE: Business Development Representative

REPORTS TO: Business Development Team Lead

DEPARTMENT: Sales

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll help further Ohanafy’s mission to transform the craft beverage industry by finding potential customers and starting new relationships with interested clients, thus expanding our customer base.

We seek an individual with a go-getter attitude who can learn to achieve assigned KPIs and metrics that support overall sales goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and qualify new leads
  • Meet and exceed activity goals
  • Initiate contact with potential customers through cold-calling, emailing, social media, or responding to inquiries
  • Create relationships with customers and identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales
  • Move leads through the sales funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging demos
  • Follow up with potential prospects who’ve expressed interest
  • Perform regular follow-up calls or emails to facilitate communication
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure company's goals and targets are met
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM, Salesforce)

REQUIRED:

  • A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field.
  • Successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • Good time management and analytical skills
  • Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills
  • Sound judgment, detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work outside of standard business hours as necessary
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships

DESIRED:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software preferred
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with others in a professional and respectful manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
