COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is not in a collective bargaining unit.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG), Office of Resources Management. The incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of extensive support service functions such as: space management, property management, supply management, inventory management, publishing service, mail service, facilities and equipment maintenance, records retention and disposition, and transportation. Duties include, but are not limited to: serving as the liaison with the building owner to ensure facilities operations are managed in accordance with rules, regulations, and contractual requirements; overseeing construction/renovation of workspaces, including developing and implementing plans for individual workstations and changes in office layouts; inspecting contractor's work for compliance with specifications or standards; providing acquisition and logistical support for Lottery's fleet; inventory and other support services. Arranging for and/or providing transportation to designated staff for essential government business. Processing agency mail, special packages, and other forms of written or printed communications. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of progressive work experience performing duties related to support service functions such as maintaining facility operations; managing departmental inventory, records, property and transportation services; processing mail, preparing and maintaining reports. Incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and possess a valid driver's license. (This position is not eligible for Telework and Alternative Work Schedule) .
Specialized Experience

Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.

SALARY REDUCTION OF REEMPLOYED ANNUITANTS:
An individual selected for employment in the District Government on or after January 1, 1980, who is receiving an annuity under any District government civilian retirement system, shall have his or her pay reduced by the amount of annuity allocable to the period of employment as a reemployed annuitant.
