Occupational Training Center is Hiring a Food Service Supervisor Near Wrightstown, NJ

Summary

Position supervises clients and staff in day-to-day operations in food service facility including safety management, supplies & equipment inventory management and guidelines / procedures contained in contract to insure compliance.

  • Executes all assignments in a professional and timely manner
  • Oversees-supervises all assigned personnel to insure proper and efficient execution of tasks and responsibilities as defined by contract terms, conditions and statement of work
  • Participates in all scheduled training, complies with company, customer, safety and related guidelines.
  • Responsible for compliance to Danielle’s Law and all other criteria as dictated by company policy or contract conditions.
  • Provide technical training on equipment, MSDS information, incident/accidents, and any other relevant in-service training to lead workers and client workers
  • Maintains detailed log of all training provided
  • Accountability and maintenance of supply and equipment inventory
  • Maintain frequency schedules and assists in the performance of time-studies for client staff
  • Reports any needed maintenance of equipment, both OTC and Military
  • Follows cleaning schedules and completes assigned work
  • Report all deficiencies, personnel incidents, property damage or other significant events to Project or Assistant Project Manager
  • Maintain quality control of all assigned areas and performs quality assurance inspections
  • Maintains key control of all issued keys
  • Monitor employee work attire and uniform inventory
  • Perform other assigned duties related to regulations outlined in contract statement of work
  • Maintain appropriate documentation as required by the contract and OTC
  • Ensure timely and factual communication with appropriate contract personnel and OTC staff

Job Requirements:

  • At least (2) two years of similar food service experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Ability to supervise disabled and non-disabled staff
  • Maintain supplies & equipment inventory
  • Monitor employee work attire and uniform inventory
  • Arrange for training in safety, sanitation, food handling and related areas as needed
  • Perform other assigned duties related to regulations outlined in contract statement of work
  • Maintain appropriate documentation as required by the contract and OTC
  • Ensure timely and factual communication with appropriate contract personnel and OTC staff
  • Strong Managerial and Time Management skills.
  • Experience in accountability of supplies and personnel
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Valid drivers license
  • Capable of meeting Health and Sanitation standards for food service workers
  • Pass Drug Test
  • Schedule Varies Weekly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.20 per hour

Shift:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Management: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
