JOB SUMMARY

The AR/AP Manager supports financial management by addressing the needs of internal and external parties, including managing the timeliness and accuracy of processing all paperwork required to maintain the integrity of information contained within the accounting system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to reconcile specific and overall accounts receivable
• Setup Rent recurring rent charges in management system
• Ensure accuracy of staff
• Approve and process necessary adjustments or corrections.
• Supervise staff in receipts and application of payment process
• Provide monthly reporting and analysis of aged receivables
• Provide rent certificates as requested
• Process manual disbursement requests following Corporate guidelines.
• Manage check selection and disbursement processes for twice weekly check runs
• Tracks active construction projects for both receivables and payables
• Facilitate and setup new bank accounts in the appropriate systems
• Issue stop payments and replacement checks
• Maintains system of controls for all related processes
• Manages the month end closing process for Accounts Payable
• Year End Closing procedures for A/P including 1099
• Troubleshoot AR and AP issues in MRI
• Maintain access to our Bill processing software for Property Accountants
• Initial setup of our Property Management software for new clients or properties.
• Provide Internal Help Desk support to users of MRI and NEXUS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
• Two or more years of AP / AR experience
• Supervisory Experience
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Computer and Software experience
