Nuvitek is Hiring an IT Help Desk Specialist Near , VA
We are seeking a highly motivated and technical IT Help Desk Specialist to join our growing team. In this 100% remote role, you will provide exceptional technical support to our team of approximately 100 MacBook users. You will be the first line of defense for troubleshooting software and hardware issues, ensuring our team has a smooth and productive workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues related to MacBooks, Google Workspace, MS Office for Mac, Slack, and BitDefender.
- Provide clear and concise technical guidance to users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Apple's macOS and relevant software updates.
- Setup and manage a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with users.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest Mac technologies and software solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with a focus on MacBooks.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of software and hardware issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to all types of users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using remote access tools.
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Workspace, MS Office for Mac, Slack, and security software like BitDefender.
- A self-starter with a strong desire to learn and stay updated on the latest technologies.
