We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BD Associate/Capture Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with junior-level experience and a strong background in government-related research. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with government entities and a proven ability to navigate forecasts, extract information from agency budgets, and research contracts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Government Research: Conduct thorough research on government agencies, including analyzing forecasts, extracting relevant data from agency budgets, and researching existing contracts.
2. Opportunity Identification: Identify potential business opportunities within government sectors based on research findings and market trends.
3. Capture Planning: Assist in developing capture plans for identified opportunities, including gathering intelligence, analyzing competition, and supporting proposal development.
4. Proposal Support: Collaborate with the proposal team to provide input based on research findings, contribute to proposal development, and ensure alignment with client requirements.
5. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies to gather insights and stay informed about upcoming projects and initiatives.
6. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of research findings, opportunity assessments, and capture plans. Prepare reports and presentations as needed for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in government research or related roles.
3. Strong understanding of government processes, budgets, and contracts.
4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
5. Proficiency in using research tools and databases to gather information efficiently.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
7. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in research and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with capture planning and proposal development in a government contracting environment.
2. Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations.
3. Advanced proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suites and research tools/software.
