Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and/or similar work experieince

- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and MS Office Suite or similar Google services

- Solid understanding of financial concepts, principles, and practices

- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. There will be a lot of in-person work with our owners up front at their Meridian home office. However, once fully trained, this postion can turn into a work-from-home scenario.

- Prior experience utilizing email software is a must

- Integrity in all you do is absoultely critical for this position, since you'll be handling numbers

- There is a zero tolerance policy for a background check that includes DUI's or theft of any kind. Yes, we do background check!
