Are you a self-starter who loves to nerd out with numbers? Come join our team! FiftyFlowers is a local, eCommerce business looking for a #numbersnerd Bookkeeper to help us out in our Accounting Department.

This position requires prior knowledge and work experience in QuickBooks Online. We are looking for a competent and analytical go-getter who enjoys balancing a checkbook to the penny and can handle a variety of tasks. This position will work in-office at our Boise location, Monday through Friday for about 30 hours per week.

A Day in the Life

General Accounting to include:

• Create reports, reconcile, and pay sales tax for multiple states.
• Manage accounting for the office building, including rent roll, A/R and A/P.
• Manage corporate accounts receivable.
• Prepare bank deposits.
• Run semi-monthly payroll through Paylocity.
• Work daily in Excel, Google, Trello, and Quickbooks Online.
• Filing, mailing, and other duties as needed.
• Provide support for our Accounting Department with key tasks as requested.

Requirements

• Impeccable drive for perfectionism – 1 1 has to equal 2!
• Experience in Accounting - numbers don’t scare you!
• Experience with Quickbooks Online.
• Avalara sales tax software experience is nice but not necessary.
• Enjoys creating order out of chaos.
• Loves to predict possible issues and organizes them accordingly.
• Knows when to rely on team members and when to just get it done independently.
• Has a thirst for knowledge and growth.
• Uses technology to communicate - Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, Google Drive, Office. etc.
