The Staff Accountant is responsible for providing relevant, timely and accurate financial data to support the Accounting Department's key initiatives and deadlines. This position is focused on input, preparation, and reconciliation of financial statement accounts to achieve an efficient and accurate month end close.YOU WILL:
Manage and record cash transactions through the cash module
Collaborate with the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams as needed
Record journal entries in the accounting system and ensure appropriate supporting documents are provided
Assist with month-end close process
Analyze accounting results, investigate variances, and document findings
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in the gathering of information for audit preparation
Ad hoc and special projects as requested
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,or relevant work experience.
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
Intermediate with Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
