The School of Nursing invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for the fall 2024 semester. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach nursing courses. Clinical and/or didactic instructors will teach adult health, pediatrics, maternity, and mental health in our traditional, accelerated and RN-BSN entry options.

Graduate degree in Nursing and a minimum of two years full-time employment or equivalent in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse verified with the Board of Nursing.

Candidates Masters or Doctorate in nursing degree with 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level and a background in nursing are preferred.

Current unrestricted RN license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
