The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ESL Instructor to join our team and help Spanish-speaking students improve their English language skills. The position involves organizing and implementing instructional programs, conducting lessons multiple times a week, and provide support to the students in their language learning journey! Teaching lessons will occurring three to four times a week for each session to be an hour and half to a max of three hours long in the evening.

Locations:

1221 Rail Street Greensboro, NC 27265: Classroom setting with multiple Whiteboards and equipment.

3712 S. Holden Rd, Greensboro NC 27406: Occasional visits to ParTee Shack for live practice sessions.

Students:

You will be working closely with 3 Spanish speaking students with backgrounds from Honduras and Dominican Republic. These students have no English background and are eager to improve their language skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching English language skills to non-native speakers, including writing, reading, speaking, and listening.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual students needs.
• Assess students with progress through regular quizzes, tests, assignments, and real life experiences.

Requirements and Skills

• Strong Bilingual proficiency: The ability to speak, read, write, and understand both Spanish and English fluently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creativity and innovation in teaching methods
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse students and learning styles.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• 1 year of experience teaching ESL in a classroom setting

Earnings

Compensation is up for discussion based on experience and qualifications.
