NJ Flood & Fire is Hiring a Project Manager (Water Restoration) Near Clifton, NJ

NJ Flood & Fire believes in a customer-first approach. We are seeking a Water Mitigation Project Manager. We are a fast growing company and there is significant room to grow into a leadership position. You will receive formal training as required to elevate your skills.

The lead role will lead and manage water loss projects.

Customer Communication Duties:

  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Ability to deal with customers under stressful situations
  • Demonstrate professionalism and communicate with clients

Project Manager Duties:

  • Provide initial site inspection
  • Secure the work authorization for the site
  • Perform the applied structural drying per the IICRC standards
  • Provide moisture mapping and documentation
  • Lead and manage technician team
  • Assist with demolition after fire or flood
  • Move dehumidifiers, fans, and air scrubbers to and from work site
  • Drive and operate truck and machinery (Extraction machine, mop up pump, dehumidifiers etc…)
  • Participate in 24 hour on call rotation and respond with a maximum sense of urgency
  • Some evening and weekend hours as we are a 24/7 disaster response company

Management Duties:

  • Ability to efficiently manage technicians in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to document and follow established work processes.
  • Ability to create and maintain solid business development relationships
  • Ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships
  • Ability to exhibit a professional, neat and clean appearance
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
