Project Assistant for Residential (Multi-Family) Construction
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Traveling Project Assistant to join our team at our residential (multi-family) contracting company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of exterior and interior renovation processes and preferably have experience working in the multi-family industry.
In this fast-paced role, the Construction Project Manager will be responsible for determining and defining the scope of work and deliverables, predicting, and obtaining necessary resources, obtaining permits and regulatory approvals, managing costs to meet budget, and overseeing the construction schedule and activities. Strong communication skills, both in person and through written communication such as email and phone, are essential for this role.
In addition to having at least one year of project management experience within construction, the successful candidate will possess proficiency in Microsoft Office, demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles, and strong leadership and management skills. The ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs will also be crucial for success in this role.
