Job Description:
The Prep Cook will assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads, and putting together entrees. They will be responsible for ensuring that all ingredients are properly stored and prepared for use. The Prep Cook will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning cooking equipment. They will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Chop vegetables and prepare salads
- Prepare entrees and side dishes
- Ensure that all ingredients are properly stored and prepared for use
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Wash dishes and clean cooking equipment
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Prep Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
