New Leaf Landscape Services is Hiring a Human Resources Associate Near Gainesville, GA

POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Associate

REPORTS TO: Office Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

➢ Handle all new hire applicants and paperwork.

➢ Handle all uniform ordering and management of uniforms

➢ Tracking & Training Procedures for employees
➢ Assist Office Manager and management team as needed
➢ Attend Job Fairs and post available jobs to public media

➢ Planning and handling social media

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

HANDLE ALL NEW HIRE APPLICATNS AND PAPERWORK

➢ Review all applications for potential new hire both online & in office.
➢ Interview applicants, Administer test if needed. Check references.
➢ If hired, complete all new hire paperwork, e-verify, request or order

MVR.

➢ Do orientation with all new employees, schedule DOT physicals if needed.

➢ Call for exit interview when employee leaves company for reasons other than lay-off

HANDLE ALL UNIFORM ORDERING AND MANAGEMENT OF

UNIFORMS

➢ Order all uniforms for new employees
➢ Coordinate with office mgr. if employee leaves to make sure all uniforms are turned in.

TRACKING AND TRAINING PROCEDURES FOR EMPLOYEES

➢ Establish training spreadsheet &track progress of training of employees

➢ Assist with training sessions if needed.
➢ Assist Training Manager

ASSIST OFFICE MANAGER AND MANAGEMENT TEAM

➢ Locate utilities for install or enhancements jobs.
➢ Call clients to notify them of scheduled date for work to be done.
➢ Maintain spreadsheet for referral of new hires by current employees
➢ Keep vacation request board updated
➢ Run errands as needed.
➢ Other tasks as directed.

ATTEND JOB FAIRS AND POST AVAILABLE JOBS TO PUBLIC

MEDIA

➢ Attend Job Fairs
➢ Keep Job Postings updated on media websites to continue looking for new employees.

➢ Keep relationship with other outside sources for job posting, make contact quarterly (tech schools, colleges, etc.)

➢ Always explore new ideas for job hiring.

MEETING REQUIREMENTS:

➢ Weekly Staff Meetings. -Update management staff on hiring potentials.

REPORTING REQUIREMENTS:

➢ Post Monthly Man hour report upstairs in training room.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

➢ Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
➢ Good listener.
➢ Able to multitask and strong organizational skills.
➢ Proficient with Excel & Word.
➢ Attention to detail.
➢ Self-Learner is a plus.
➢ Frugal attitude toward use of company resources.
➢ Trustworthy and discreet
➢ Bilingual (Spanish)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.07 per hour
