Mission of the Role: The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in fostering trust, credibility, and
rapport among local/regional employees while serving as their advocate and advisor on
various employment matters. This position ensures the proper implementation of
SupplyOne’s human resources policies and procedures, including employment practices,
performance management, employee benefits, and legal aspects such as ADA, FMLA, and
Worker’s Compensation. Additionally, the HR Generalist oversees accurate and timely
payroll processing and embodies the values, services, and capabilities of SupplyOne to
contribute to high-quality business performance and a positive work environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Help develop and support best-practice HR and talent management policies, practices,
processes, and tools to build a world-class workforce aligned with organizational goals.
2. Assist in identifying and achieving human resources priorities, goals, and strategies.
3. Provide human resources and operational data/analytics to leaders to facilitate
business reporting, planning, and management.
Essential Functions:
1. Manage the organization's compensation and employee benefits programs, ensuring
timely adjustments and addressing employee inquiries.
2. Facilitate awareness of training opportunities and maintaining completion records.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, overseeing required employee
training and organizational adherence.
4. Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures to managers and employees,
offering guidance on conflict resolution.
5. Proactively recommend improvements to HR and business operations based on data
analysis.
6. Coordinate with temp agencies to set up temporary workers and maintain a positive
relationship with them.
7. Administer employee communications initiatives through various media channels.
8. Assist in non-management recruitment and onboarding processes, as well as employee
off-boarding procedures.
