Cook Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. New Horizon Foods is a dining contract company specializing in dining services tailored to the location and client needs. We have been in business for over 30 years and operate in over 10 states. Our employees are our greatest assets and the key to our success.
The ideal candidate will have experience in scratch cooking, be able to follow recipes, read and speak English fluently, and have a positive attitude. The Cook will be responsible for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, ensuring punctuality, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes
- Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and quality standards
- Follow all sanitation and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Ensure punctuality and reliability
