NetJets is Hiring a Financial Analyst (NJUS) Near Columbus, OH

Purpose of Position

The Financial Analyst provides timely, relevant and accurate financial and operational performance data and analysis to all assigned functions. The Financial Analyst is responsible for updating monthly reports, tracking performance against projections, working with department heads to develop budgets and assist in the preparation, analysis and presentation of the weekly and monthly financial results to the Executive Management team. May also be responsible for some accounting duties.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Prepares company reports including weekly and monthly financial results and presentations for the Executive Management team. Investigates and explains operational and financial variances to budget. Works with Department Managers on budgets and forecasts, including ongoing monitoring of performance and ad-hoc analyses related to their function. May also be responsible for performing accounting process for assigned areas including managing accounts payable, compiling and maintaining accounting data and preparing monthly closing journal entries and reconciliations to the general ledger.
  • Analysis of revenue and expenses, financial modeling, financial forecasting, rate and volume analysis and profitability impact analysis.
  • Prepares fact based presentations that can be understood by both financial and non-financial oriented executives. Must be timely, well-written, and well-grounded in the practical applications of financial theory. Takes complex financial analysis and presents key points clearly and concisely to the leaders of the business.
  • Provides advisory support to department managers on matters pertaining to budget, accounting, and related financial issues and procedures.
  • Identifies, assesses and communicates issues affecting profitability.
