Job Summary:
The Nebraska Alliance is seeking a full-time detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Accounting Specialist. This role will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions while adhering to organizational policies and best practices. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the Nebraska Alliance. This role requires effective communication skills and following general accounting principles.

The starting salary range for this full-time, exempt position is $50,000.
The Nebraska Alliance offers flexible and remote work hours, 403(b) retirement account with employer match, 13 paid holidays a year including office closure between December 25th – January 1st, personal days, 18 days of paid time off in the first year of employment, ten weeks of paid family and medical leave in qualifying circumstances, time off to volunteer at local non-profits and an employee assistance program.

We are the nationally accredited membership organization, or state chapter organization, for child advocacy centers (CACs) in Nebraska. Our team supports our CAC members and their partners by providing training, technical assistance, and capacity building; creating statewide partnerships; and leading advocacy efforts.
