Development and Learning Specialist
Location: NCCPA is a hybrid work environment with our headquarters located in Johns Creek, Georgia. NCCPA has determined that the telecommuting status of this position is hybrid which means that employees in hybrid positions are allowed to split their work hours between work remotely and working onsite at the NCCPA headquarters. Reports To: Senior Manager of Human Resources Who We Are NCCPA is the only certifying organization for physician assistants in the United States. Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for NCCPA staff.
Assesses learning and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with employees, managers, and leadership.
Presents learning and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
Works with other NCCPA business units to coordinate an internal training schedule/calendar to ensure that all required training is practically and efficiently scheduled.
Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
Develops unique learning programs to fulfill staff and NCCPA’s specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
Monitors, manages, and tracks the training budget and expenses. Participates in the annual budget process
Perform other duties as assigned.
Hard Skills You Will Have
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
At least two years of training experience required.
Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
Strong presentation skills.
Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
Soft Skills You Will Bring
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Your ability to build and maintain positive business relationships with various levels of staff.
Highly developed time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Extra Skills You Can Bring Along
Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
Training or HR related specialized credential.
Compensation Range: $63,133.00- $71,000.00 Benefits and Perks for You
