Overview

The Senior Compensation & HRIS Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the administration of Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) compensation programs and supporting compensation/benefits related HRIS functions. The Sr Analyst assists with system implementations, problem resolution, auditing, data analysis, and administration of Lawson LTM system.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for merit budget processing and monthly audits of related data.
  • Frequent trouble shooting and researching issues related to Lawson merit processing as requested by Lawson supervisors and other internal customers.
  • Recommends and assists in the development and implementation of appropriate employee compensation structures.
  • Communicates with managers and recruiters regarding compensation policy and assists in making appropriate changes in HRIS system.
  • Interacts with all levels of hospital staff to resolve problems, gather information and provide assistance in compensation related matters.
  • Conducts analysis on internal and external salary statistics and handles highly confidential employee data.
  • Develops complex reports and queries on an as needed basis to provide compensation data for HR customers and other NCH leaders.
  • Responsible for system implementation, configuration, testing, training, auditing and ongoing maintenance of HRIS systems as it relates to employee Compensation.
  • Performs compensation related duties such as salary survey completion, annual wage & salary budget survey, and competing vendor information requests.
  • Ensures Compliance with federal and state regulations and laws.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills require. Demonstrated problem-solving and strong analytical skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office. High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.

Experience: Three to five years of human resources/compensation experience, preferably in a health care setting.
