Job Description
The Inside Sales Rep is an essential part of the sales team, responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving revenue growth through sales of our material handling equipment and services.
Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to potential customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, providing excellent customer service and understanding their material handling equipment needs.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product offerings, features, and benefits, ensuring the ability to effectively communicate these to customers.
- Collaborate with the broader sales and customer support teams to ensure a seamless experience for the customers, from initial contact to post-sales support.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Any and all additional duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Proven inside sales experience in a similar industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- A strong customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.
Work Environment
- Mainly office based, some warehouse/shop setting.
- Some travel required. Must have valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking in shop and offices.
- Prolonged sitting at desk.
