National Lift Truck is Hiring a Shop Administrator Near Franklin, IL
Shop Administrator
We are seeking a Shop Administrator to manage logistical coordination of our material handling equipment to our new and returning customers in the Chicago Metropolitan market area. We are a local, well established company with thousands of continuously satisfied customers whom we have accumulated and served in over 50 years.
- Knowledge of the rental fleet product lines, knowledge of the general products and services offered by other divisions, etc.
- Managing and delivering pick tickets for the sales and rental department; confirming equipment availability.
- Monitoring of rental fleet inventory and downed equipment. Regular rental department correspondence as well as assorted clerical duties such as copying and emailing.
- Working with the service manager in scheduling of shop tech jobs to accommodate rental and sales availability. Monitoring with the service manager the utility/yards staff’s workload.
- Coordinating with the service manager the flow of customer equipment through our service repair process.
- Multiple miscellaneous administrative duties including filing paperwork and creating decals for equipment.
- Building responsibilities including lock up and closing at the end of day; reporting any building needs to the branch manager.
- Assisting customers and vendors at the dock with proper paperwork and good customer service skills.
Requirements:
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Work Experience: Requires familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
Physical: Ability to walk the shop for long periods of time and handle stress and high pressure daily.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
