Role Description

Naeem Khan is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time on-site Quality Control Couture Seamstress! This individual will be directly responsible for inspecting all production units and fixing them accordingly before shipping to customers. The role requires attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.

Qualifications

• Must be detailed, precise, and organized
• Ability to work well under pressure and accountability are needed
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the production team and shipping team
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Directly responsible for inspecting and measuring garment specifications
• Experience working with high-end couture gowns and fabrics
• Must be proficient in all aspects of couture gown sewing
• Able to operate industrial sewing machines and pressing tables
• Hand-sewing skills are essential
• Must be comfortable using the computer and following spreadsheets provided
• Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds
• 8 hour shift - 1 hour lunch break
• 7 years of experience

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time; reach for tools and objects with hands and arms; ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds. Manual dexterity to sew, steam, press, and operate computers to receive garment construction comments via email. The employee must be able to see up close and at a distance, as well as use peripheral vision and depth perception, and be able to look at, read, and use a computer and/or electronic devices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
