HEPCO is seeking a qualified Construction Quality Control Specialist to fill a crucial role in monitoring and enhancing the quality management activities for C&D Systems projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective action plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor quality management activities for C&D Systems projects, including submittal reviews, non-conformance systems, and the identification/development of corrective action plans.
• Conduct ongoing site visits to assess project quality, make recommendations, and ensure the correction of identified deficiencies.
• Review, develop, and update C&D quality-related procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
• Provide monthly quality reports and updates on quality activities and project status for Senior Management.
• Develop and deliver quality-related training for C&D contractor/consultant quality personnel to enhance awareness of quality processes and requirements.
• Collaborate with C&D Corporate Audit and C&D Delivery Service Office (DSO) personnel to identify and initiate improvements in processes, procedures, requirements, and activities.

Education Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) year of construction experience in quality control, including quality management systems (QMS) and basic quality concepts.
• Alternatively, at least 60 credits from an accredited college, university, or technical school with specialization in engineering technology or related field and (6) years of experience as described above.
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and business staff.
• Knowledge of capital construction contracts and procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications including SharePoint, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with Quality concepts and processes, including FTA and ISO 9001.
