ALL INQUIRIES WILL BE HELD IN STRICTEST CONFIDENCE Responsible for Office Management and Assisting attorneys and paralegals in a support capacity.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls / Case Intake
- Process incoming mail / outgoing mail
- Assist team with but not limited to drafting, scheduling and confirming appointments
- Provide customer service to potential and existing firm clients
- Work closely with a lead attorney and paralegal
- Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling calendar hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics
- Lead in maintaining pleadings and discovery for electronic filing systems
- Implement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow
- Collect, examine, and organize evidence and documents for attorney review
- Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and contracts
- Provide general administrative assistance to office management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); comfort with technology and ability to learn new software and applications
- Maintain confidentiality dealing with sensitive information and client matters
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience working in an office setting and dealing with clients required. Law firm experience preferred.
