Movemedical is Hiring a Remote Project Manager

Description

As a Project Manager at Movemedical, you will tackle challenging, transformative projects that will dramatically change the ways that large organizations work. Throughout the project, you will serve as a communication hub across the various stakeholder groups.

Like most project management roles, the Project Manager is responsible for coordinating internal resources and client teams for the effective execution of projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. At Movemedical, you get to do this in the context of solving a unique problem and with the aim of the overall betterment of the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities below pertain to the projects that the PM manages

  • Proactively identify and resolve potential or realized issues with a sense of urgency
  • Run effective meetings that stay on agenda and end with clear, actionable outcomes
  • Work with the Engineering team to ensure a comprehensive plan is developed. For non-development activities, work with analysts and clients to ensure all significant project activities are accounted for including dependencies.
  • Plan project activities in advance and ensure detailed scope is clear for clients and internal development staff
  • Clearly communicate and document risks and issues to internal and external stakeholders, escalating when necessary
  • Clearly communicate and document scope changes and facilitate their progression through the change management workflow
  • Provide clear, consistent status reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure clients have a clear understanding and coordination of their testing, change management, training, and cutover/hypercare activities.
  • Manage the coordination of client environments as needs evolve throughout a project (e.g. plan in advance how environment A will be used for testing while environment B will be used for training)
  • Facilitate the request, authorization, documentation, etc of scope changes that require funding
  • Ensure that documentation is captured throughout the project which captures notes of important meetings, integration details, status updates, and schedules.

Overarching responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve project templates, processes, and tools
  • Establish close working relationships with clients and internal project teams and stakeholders
  • Create and track client approval of quotes created for clients (for change requests or enhancements done as part of support/maintenance)
  • Ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Requirements

  • Proven experience in large ERP or enterprise application development projects involving complex integrations
  • Knowledge of supply chain, materials management, and medical device sales/operations a big plus
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals and best practices
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

At Movemedical, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range is expected to be $120,000-$160,000 USD for this position and will vary based on the location from which you plan to work, your qualifications, and job-related experience level.
NOTE: Given our collaboration with a client from the APAC region, the ideal candidate would be based on the US West Coast or in Australia.
