Long term contract opportunity in Annapolis, MD for a Software Engineer role. Create a software design and develop code to meet the planned schedule. All work follows established CMMI work procedures and adheres to coding standards. This role requires to work on-site.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, integrate and document software of high complexity according CMMI level 3 processes and procedures.
• Participate in the engineering and development of systems and software for the GLOBALink communications system utilized in worldwide aviation communications.
• Perform unit and integration testing to prove the correct functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying software.
• Skilled in creating secure codes.
• Possess solid writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be able to work efficiently in a highly integrated team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge and experience of Linux systems.
• Knowledge and experience of AWS.
• Knowledge and experience on few development languages, especially Python and C.
