About the OpportunityThe Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for supporting managers and team members in designated regions of the company with HR-related matters. This position develops and maintains partnerships across the designated region(s) to deliver value-added services to management and team members. Responsibilities
  • Serves as central point of contact for assigned region(s) and provides mentoring and coaching to managers on all HR-related matters.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of employment law and legal requirements.
  • Administers Leaves of Absences, Unemployment Compensation, and Workers Compensation.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides policy guidance and interpretation.
  • In collaboration with Human Resources Manager and Chief Operating Officer, identifies training needs for assigned region(s) and develops, and provides training.
  • Provides Performance Management support.
  • Works closely with managers to review team member opinion surveys and recommend any actions needed to maintain positive team member relations.
  • Understands Regional staffing needs, turnover, and related headcount planning actions.
  • Partners with Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification or ability to acquire in first year of employment is required.
  • Coaching certification is a plus
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience solving complex employee relations issues and conducting investigations.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Working knowledge of compensation philosophy, DEIB best practices, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly acquire business acumen and knowledge.
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
