Morrison is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Olivehurst, CA

Position Overview:
The Human Resource Manager will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of human resources within the company. This includes managing both seasonal and full-time staff, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for both seasonal and full-time positions. Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent
  • Employee Onboarding and Training: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and ensure they receive proper training and orientation. Develop ongoing training programs to support employee growth and development
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management processes, including regular performance reviews and goal setting. Provide guidance to managers on employee performance issues and professional development
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and addressing employee concerns and grievances. Work to resolve conflicts and maintain a healthy workplace culture
  • Event Manager: The company is responsible for hosting many international visitors and groups from its Japan owned parent company. This position will handle coordination and preparation as needed for successfully hosting these visitors
  • Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and update company policies as necessary.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Support the administration of the company's compensation and benefits programs. Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • HR Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • HR Administration: Direct supervision over 1 HR Generalist staff. Oversight of administrative functions such as payroll, record keeping, and employee data management.
  • Some travel required
  • Other Duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Previous HR experience (3-5 years)
  • Fluent in English (Bilingual Spanish preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be responsible and trustworthy
  • Strong computer skills with experience in payroll systems
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, related discipline preferred
  • Industry recognized certification (i.e., PHR, PHRCa, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred
Compensation: 
Competitive base salary range ($90-120k), comprehensive benefits package, Paid Time Off, 401k
