The Role: We’re looking for a senior leader to serve as the Director, Program Management, driving the evolution of the group’s program management office (PMO) and leading the execution of key strategic programs. You’ll lead a team of program/project managers and work with internal partners within P&C and other corporate functions. You’ll ensure appropriate program management support to highly visible, complex programs across the group and be responsible for accelerating program delivery.
You have a strong background in program management as well as operational process improvement. Your experience delivering highly complex programs across multiple cross-functional teams, including oversight of multiple project plans and key metrics, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical. You must be able to identify, navigate and ultimately reduce risk throughout the programs to deliver high value programs on time/budget. You’ll drive PMO best practices and governance as well as operational excellence and continuous process improvement across the group. The ability to communicate clearly at all levels, form strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively identify and manage risks is essential in this role. The position is in Chicago and will report to the Head of Strategy, and Analytics within Morningstar’s People & Culture function.
