Monster Energy is Hiring a Compensation Manager Near Corona, CA

Position Summary:In the position of Compensation Manager you would manage and evaluate the compensation function for the organization. Participate in the design of the total reward plan, create a global grade structure based on job evaluation, hierarchy, and market research to determine fair pay for each position.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversees the development and implementation of total reward compensation strategy, ensuring competitive and equitable rewards to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Craft compensation policies that align with organizational goals
  • Conduct market research to determine fair pay for each position and maintain salary range and internal equity alignment.
  • Ensure we are offering competitive wages to attract the top talent in the field for the long commitment to the company.
  • Oversee the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved. Develop techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting survey data.
  • Administer global annual processes with proficiency and accuracy ‐‐ annual compensation review, annual bonus, Long Term Grants/Performance Cash Plan, and Deferred Compensation plan.
  • Provide advice to corporate staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Create training materials and reference guides as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing laws and regulations and updates to legal requirements. Stay up to date and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations such as minimum wage and overtime rules, etc.
  • Developing appropriate job descriptions, re‐evaluating current job positions classifying them in accordant with the levels of importance and responsibility to the employer.
  • Test descriptions for Non‐Exempt and Exempt using Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) criteria.
  • Prepare statistical analysis, data modeling, incentive pay programs, and costing of base.
  • Support stock plan administrator with end‐to‐end administration of the company’s equity plan. Administer stock plans, preparing and providing information to stock plan participants, managing the processing of grants, award terminations, equity vesting, and exercises.

Position Requirements:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of ‐‐ Human Resources management, Labor Relations, Business Administration and management, Finance or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in human resources, three (3) years in a supervisory role or higher
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in progressively responsible experience in employee compensation, total rewards administration
  • Computer Skills Desired: Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Indirect, large data manipulation) and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of UKG ‐‐ report building a plus
  • Preferred Certifications: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‐CP), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‐SCP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credential
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Detail orientation ‐‐ pay meticulous attention to all aspects of a situation or task.
  • Goal orientation ‐‐ act to stay focused on the task objective and perform in accordance with clear expectations and goals.
  • Organizational skills ‐‐ be structured and methodical in working skills.
  • Problem solving skills ‐‐ recognize course of action which can be taken to handle problems or potential problems, and applying contingency plans to solve those problems.

Base Pay Range : $135,000 - $160,000
