Customer Service Representative Heat Treat Division

GENERAL: Responsible for customer service calls and contacts, invoicing, record retention and ERP support. Assist with expediting of jobs throughout the plant. On-site position. Shop floor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities): Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Proficient with Microsoft products and overall computer savvy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Effectively communicate with customers about assigned activities, followed by internal communications, documentation, and follow-ups. (Professional verbal communication, along with concise effective email)
• Review shipment documentation and invoice details for completeness and accuracy.
• Invoice and job entry inputs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

• Willing to be trained in areas that need enhanced skills.
• Proficient with current computer software, Microsoft products and email.
• Effectively communicate through written and verbal means.
• High School diploma,
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Need to work with a team to produce a positive outcome – team player.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical education relating to communications and data entry and manipulation.

• Must be able to maintain a very high level of accuracy at all times, despite interruptions.

• Ability to prioritize and follow up accurately in a timely fashion.
• Must be able to analyze and comprehend invoices and customer purchase orders.

• Experience in Manufacturing, Inventory, and Shipping / Receiving preferred.
• Excellent time management skills.
