MOBIS Technical Center of North America is Hiring an Account Manager - Chassis Near Plymouth, MI

Key Tasks

To grow business within the area of Chassis Brake and Steering products

Become subject matter expert with an in-depth understanding of product(s), markets, customers, and competitors in the Chassis space

Assist with development of product/customer strategies that achieve a differentiated market position (help define where and where not to play)

Work to develop optimized investment, marketing, and go-to-market approaches associated with developed product strategies

Support product strategies to drive implementation

Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with customers and business partners

Support all tasks / activities related to New Business Acquisition and Quote Process

Leads price, claim or contract negotiations from and towards customers

Lead Sales Invoicing, tracking of AP/AR, and other administative processes

Lead pricing studies and assist in response to customer requests

Represents MOBIS at customer meetings

Coordinate with team in Korea

Work collaboratively with Key Account Executives, Chassis Team Members,Manufacturing and Program Management teams

Work collaboratively with Engineering to support customer technical reviews

Experience Level

1-5 years of experience with OEM commercial contact and or Sales role or equivalent

Sales support

Knowledge of Chassis Brake and Electric Steering systems (preferred)

Experience negotiating terms related to: intellectual property rights, purchase order

terms and conditions, advanced technical works

Demonstrate to be highly proficient with computer technologies including but not limited to Windows and XP Operating systems, computer networking with the use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Data Analysis and Problem Solving (with attention to detail)

Organization and Planning

Written and verbal communication required

Interpersonal Relations preferred (confidently interact with individuals at all levels)

Education

Bachelor's Degree (Business or Engineering preferred)

Travel

Occasional international travel

Occasional local travel
