Moët Hennessy USA is Hiring an Associate E-Retail Manager Near New York, NY

MISSION STATEMENT

The Associate E-Retail Manager manages and supports key strategic activities and projects across B2C and B2B E-Business for the Moët Hennessy USA (MHUSA) portfolio of luxury wines & spirits brands. Reporting into the E-Business Platform Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role are to optimize and improve brand and portfolio performance on key B2C E-Business platforms; Supporting the E-Retail Manager in execution of the MHUSA B2B E-Business Strategy; Designing and running commercial, financial and investment analysis using multiple data sources to guide future decisions for E-Retail campaigns; and gathering, editing, and distributing E-Retail assets that support luxury execution across critical B2C and B2B partners. The E-Business channel is one of the most dynamic and critical for MHUSA, and the role will be ideal for anyone who wants to develop first-class business acumen and thrive in a creative environment.

Profile

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • B2C Platform Performance
    • Support the E-Business Platform Manager in executing MHUSA’s qualitative and quantitative goals on key B2C platforms such as Drizly, Instacart and ReserveBar
    • Manage the Activation Planning Calendar for all key platforms and communicate these to all key internal and external stakeholders
    • Manage the campaign requirements for brands and the MHUSA portfolio through content briefing, creation, editing and sharing
    • Perform sales and campaign analysis across the platforms, including but not limited to sales performance and E-Retail KPI benchmarking (Impressions, CTR, CVRs, CPC, CPA, ROAS etc), working in collaboration with the E-Business Performance Manager
    • Share B2C Platform Campaign Announcements and Insights to key internal and external stakeholders
    • Manage the financial administration requirements for each individual platform (financial reporting, invoicing and budgeting)
  • E-Retail Content and Tools
    • Support E-Retail team in development of content strategy and guidelines, with the MHUSA Content Studio and collective input from the regional E-Retail managers and other marketing or regional stakeholders
    • Develop E-Retail content templates and lead content creation process with Global and Brand Teams, focused on best-in-class, awareness, consideration and conversion driving assets for commercial use
    • Collaborate with Trade Marketing and the Global E-Retail team to manage E-Retail content on the MHUSA Trade Portal and internal and external PIM/DAM tools
    • Manage and optimize ongoing feedback loop on regional needs, retailer requests and brand specific programming to ensure winning & results driven programs for Moet Hennessy
    • Perform light content editing and distribution using internal or external partners when needed
  • B2B E-Business Strategy
    • Support the E-Retail Manager in executing MHUSA’s qualitative and quantitative goals on key B2B platforms such as Provi, BreakthruNOW and SGProof
    • Manage the campaign requirements for brands and the MHUSA portfolio through content briefing, creation, editing and sharing
    • Perform sales and campaign analysis across the platforms, including but not limited to sales performance and E-Retail KPI benchmarking (Impressions, CTR, CVRs, CPC, CPA, ROAS etc), working in collaboration with the E-Business Performance Manager
    • Manage the financial administration requirements for each individual platform (financial reporting, invoicing and budgeting)
  • Reporting & Insights
    • Support the E-Retail team in delivering the Quarterly E-Business Reports (both financial and insight based)
    • Manage and optimize the design and layout of the E-Business Sharepoint, MHUSA’s internal sharing site for all things related to E-Business
    • Work with the E-Business Performance Manager on communicating the monthly E-Business and Executive Scorecard
    • Share relevant E-Retail insights, reports and updates to the business as needed
    • Keep the team updated with news and trends affecting the Wines & Spirits E-Business industry

Additional information

5. Financial Reporting and Administration

    • Manage the E-Retail team’s financial tracking and budgeting process (YOY, YTD, YTG, surplus and deficits etc)
    • Liaise with Finance to optimize our vendor onboarding as well as invoicing and payment queries
    • Identify ways to create value through financial tracking and optimizing E-Retail investment strategies

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Education: Undergraduate Degree required

Languages: English, working knowledge of French a plus

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in E-Retail is required, with a proven track record and experience in building customer relationships, and deep understanding of customer specific needs (DTC, omnichannel retailers, marketplaces or distributors)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a digital marketing or eCommerce specific function, with demonstrated achievements and results across paid, owned and earned media, and a strong knowledge of content best practices
  • Deep understanding of the e-retail route-to-market for Wines & Spirits in the US
  • Direct management or experience partnering with national Retailers, such as Walmart, Kroger, Total Wine, BevMo; national marketplace platforms such as Instacart, Drizly, Minibar etc or Distributors such as SGWS and Breakthru
  • Demonstrated understanding of the various digital levers as they apply to conversion & engagement, as well as new trends and technologies and their impact on today’s consumer’s shopping habits
  • Strong business and commercial understanding with ability to create, target and measure programs and sales performance
  • A passion for luxury brands and the Wines & Spirits industry, with a strong lean into luxury execution and branding
  • Ability to drive change and educate and influence groups
  • Ability to work across functions, levels and resources, both internal and external
  • Self-motivated change agent with ability to show strategic vision and tactical application and follow-through
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills – must be extremely competent with MSOffice suite of tools
  • Ability to manage several projects in various stages and adhere to deadlines, attention to detail, while working independently
